ANYTHING BY ESTHER & JERRY HICKS

These books explain the Universal Law of Attraction and how to apply it so that you can deliberately create and draw to yourself the life you desire.  An understanding of the Law of Attraction helps to explain such things as why "good" things happen to "bad" people and why "bad" things happen to "good" people; why people who work hard may have little and people who work little may have a lot; and why we keep getting more of what we don't want no matter how hard we try.  If we were to think of life as a game, then we need to know the rules of the game to play it well.  These books teach you the rules so that you can play the game of life well, have fun, and get what you want out of life.  These books are my first go to these days.

RESOURCES FOR COUPLES

ANYTHING BY ESTHER & JERRY HICKS

ANYTHING BY SUE JOHNSON

GOTTMAN'S 4 HORSEMEN IN RELATIONSHIPS

ANYTHING BY ESTHER PEREL

BRENE BROWN

The book The Vortex, in particular, covers relationships.

Sue Johnson uses Attachment Theory to help couples understand the "dance' they get into with each other so that couples can stop pushing each other away and, instead, soften and reach towards each other.

Dr. Gottman's years of researching couples uncovered 4 main destroyers of healthy communication.

The presence of any of these 4 is a redflag that the relationship could be headed for a breakup unless something is done to change how a couple interacts with each other during conflicts.

Esther Perel focuses on human sexuality and the sexual dynamics in relationships.

See Brene Brown's TED Talks in the "Good Reads" section above.
